Virtual classroom tools for live online sessions
- Collaborate Collaborate is the name given to the centrally supported ‘virtual classroom’ service. Collaborate sessions can be managed entirely via a web browser with no need for client downloads. They can be scheduled via MyEd (useful for support staff and anyone who isn’t attached to a Learn course) or via Learn (useful for course organisers / tutors wanting to host an online session with their students).
- Zoom Zoom can be used virtual teaching sessions and is integrated with Learn. If you set up Zoom sessions through a course’s Learn page, all users on that course will be able to access the session and the recording will be stored in the course’s Lecture Recordings area.
