As the cold Edinburgh days draw in and essay writing begins, the SRR could save you from trekking to the Main Library. We have a large variety of books which Undergraduates and Postgraduates from History, Classics and Archaeology can borrow. You might even find a copy of that book which is only available on HUB Reserve at the Main Library!

To borrow books, please go to the volunteer desk on floor 2M between 10am and 6pm and ask a volunteer to sign out books.

Our Collections include:

Archaeology Collection

Anthropological Studies Collection

Brown and Forrest Collection (Late Antique and Medieval History)

Centre for the Study of Modern Conflict Collection

Compton Collection (American History)

Jim McMillan Collection (European History)

Michael Flinn Collection (Economic and Social History)

New Library Books collection (History)

Scottish History Collection (Housed in Room 3.07)

Sellar and Goodhart (Classics, Ancient History, Classical Art and Archaeology)
