EEHN welcomes new conveners

EEHN welcomes new conveners Dr Hannah Boast and Dr Zeynep Oguz, who will take over from Prof Michelle Bastian and Prof David Farrier from 2024.

Hannah is Chancellor’s Fellow in the School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures and Zeynep is Lecturer in Anthropology of Development, School of Social and Political Science.

Annie Gallagher will take over from Matthew Lear and Ellie Ballantine as PG convener for 2024-25. Annie is a PhD student in Landscape Architecture, Edinburgh College of Art.

We are grateful to Michelle and David for the enormous amount of work they have done to build Environmental Humanities at Edinburgh over the past ten years. Their work at Edinburgh has played an invaluable role in shaping the wider discipline.

We are looking forward to continuing Michelle and David’s work, and to helping to grow Edinburgh as a major centre for Environmental Humanities research into the future.
