Deep time materializing deals with how material feminism/posthumanism affects how to understand the sedimentation of time and may contribute with an alternative view on heritage,
conservation and development. It is argued that constantly altering materialization processes affects how both a variety of pasts and futures are conditioning the action possibilities in the
present. It makes use of these thoughts to suggest alterations in current practices and care for nature:culture heritage, but also for placing heritage studies within the environmental humanities
field.
