The Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities and Edinburgh Environmental Humanities Network announces the IASH-EEHN Visiting Research Fellowships 2025-26.
IASH-EEHN Visiting Research Fellowships support fellows to undertake a stay of between two and four months at University of Edinburgh, in the beautiful surroundings of our Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities. They are intended to bring outstanding interdisciplinary researchers to Edinburgh to support the production of new work, and to encourage scholarly collaboration and networking with researchers at Edinburgh.
Fellows will be expected to give two presentations about their research during their stay, one at IASH and one to Environmental Humanities colleagues, and to participate in the scholarly community at IASH. Projects should have a connection to research being conducted at Edinburgh, and we encourage prospective applicants to read about the work being done at EEHN before applying.
A bursary of £1,300 per month will be offered to successful candidates to contribute towards travel and subsistence costs.
Applications open on 8 January. The deadline is 28 February 2025.
IASH is offering a webinar for potential applicants to all the mid-career/senior programmes closing in February, including the IASH-EEHN fellowship. This will take place on Monday 28 October: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/webinar-applying-for-an-iash-fellowship-in-2025-tickets-1022647836207.
