Student Review: Exploring the impact of Decolonial & Reparatory projects

In collaboration with the African Caribbean Medical Society, Black Women in Edinburgh, African Caribbean Society and BAME Liberation Officer, this discussion aims to explore the emerging recommendations coming from the Decolonised Transformations Project with current students, aiming to ascertain student’s perceptions of the feasibility of the recommendations on their academic experiences.

The event will provide a brief overview of the aims and research of the project, followed by examples of the findings coming from the interim report and an exploration and evaluation of the emerging recommendations. We aim for the event to be fully interactive and welcoming of all student voices.
