Reading Time: 2 minutes

Welcome back to some exciting news. As always, I hope you are well, getting on with exams and assignments or getting on with work, while also taking care of yourselves. Wherever you are and however you are feeling today, thank you for tuning in on another blog post about the We Have Great Stuff – Volume 3 colouring book.

I’m thrilled to announce that we will hold an online workshop on Tuesday 25th May as part of the Digital Skills Festival. This is an opportunity to learn a new skill, namely creating digital illustrations with the free browser-based Sketchpad which is the software I have created all my drawings in. It is also a chance to explore and engage with the architecture of University of Edinburgh and the amazing items held at the Centre for Research Collections. Lastly, I hope this workshop will serve as a creative and mindful break after the exam period or from work where we will create beautiful drawings together; drawings which will offer the same mental time-out to yourself and others when coloured in. And of course, there is the possibility of getting your drawing selected for the Volume 3 colouring book.

Do make sure to also check out the other events taking place during the Digital Skills Festival as they offer a great range of event such as Introduction To Audacity: Audio Recording And Editing, Introduction To Inkscape, Digital Self-Care: Being A Woman Online or Wikimedia in Scotland.

I hope to see you there and take care,

Marta
