Hi! I am Claudia Colesie, an plant physiologist studying lichens and mosses in Polar Regions.

Welcome to my website!

I’m a plant physiologist working for the Climate Change Institute at the University of Edinburgh. I am interested in stress physiology, survival mechanisms and ecology of polar organisms,  in particular of lichens, mosses and green algae.
