The YARNS Transitions project aims to develop a nurse-led psycho-social intervention to support young adults following a brain injury. For this intervention to be relevant and meaningful for young adults, we are inviting different stakeholders to share their experiences. We are inviting healthcare professionals, services providers and people who had experienced an acquired brain injury as well as their careers, living and receiving care across the United Kingdom, either you live and receive care in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. To be a participant, please see our inclusion criteria below.

Are you a young adult who has experienced a brain injury?

OR

Are you a carer for a young adult with a brain injury?

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have experienced or cared for a person with a brain injury (includes traumatic brain injury, stroke, cancer, CO2 poisoning, etc.) in the last 10 years
  • Aged 18-45 at the time of the brain injury
  • Are willing to consent to participate in an online interview
  • Are able to understand and communicate their experiences
