About this blog

It is easy to get wrapped up in academic jargon when you are doing a PhD. It is also easy to find yourself in a position where you are seen as the ‘expert’, talking about your research population, but not necessarily to them.

I want to create opportunities to share my research with the people who it matters to most – the mums who are wondering every day if they are doing the right thing, and making the right decisions.

I have created this blog as a way to share the findings of my research in a way that is accessible to everyone – mums, families, practitioners … anyone, in fact, who is interested in learning more about this area of research.
