Dr Peadar Ó Muircheartaigh is Senior Lecturer in the department of Celtic and Scottish Studies at the University of Edinburgh. His research interests include aspects of Scottish Gaelic dialectology, eighteenth- and nineteenth-century Gaelic literature and literary history, and Gaelic manuscript studies.

Prof. Nigel Leask FBA, FRSE is Regius Professor of English Language and Literature at the University of Glasgow. His research interests include Romanticism, Travel Writing, Scottish Literature and Empire. His most recent monograph, Stepping Westward: Writing the Highland Tour 1720-1830 was published by Oxford University Press in 2020.
