Introduction to Key Concepts 2: The three marks of existence
The second session in our Key Concepts series for school teachers of the Buddhism part of the Highers/National 5 RMPS curriculum addressed the three marks of existence, namely the position that all of our experiences are dukkha (suffering/unsatisfactory), anicca (impermanent), and anattā (not-self). The powerpoint slides contain additional notes and links to resources, and the images have all been selected for potential use in the classroom too. The recording captures the first part of the session, namely the presentation, but not the Q&A / discussion that followed. To participate in the rest of the series you need to join our group on MS Teams – email buddhist.studies@ed.ac.uk if you are a Scottish school teacher and wish to be added.
