In this week’s class, we have analyzed the different focuses of different exhibitions, which I think is very interesting. For example, fruit market Gallery, which is mainly a free public cultural space for citizens, art lovers can enjoy and discuss art in this space, and the exhibition here is mostly contemporary art. ZKM promotes interdisciplinary collaboration between art, science and technology. In addition, the 2023 Taipei Biennale is an international platform for contemporary art exchange and a large-scale international exhibition.
Then I remembered the Chengdu Biennale I saw in China in 2023, which was by far the largest art exhibition I had ever seen. With a total of eight theme exhibition areas, this exhibition is a large-scale exhibition that combines local and international, exploring the frontiers of art. This exhibition broke my understanding of art and made me realize that not only the traditional art form can be called art, but the expression of art is diverse and can be integrated with many fields.

In the afternoon class, Adam discussed with us what is a group. In general, we believe that a group is a place where we need to work together and help each other. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. Members share resources and learn together, but there is also some peer pressure and competition, which encourages us to make up for our shortcomings. Make rapid progress. In this group, communication and listening are both important, and we should create a safe and friendly environment for each other. The same is true of art institutions, where members have their own division of labor, not only to appreciate and create art, but also to promote multidisciplinary exchanges.
