Week7 Blog ( 2 )|Collective Meeting

On this Tuesday afternoon, our Avant-Prism group discussed and agreed upon a meeting topic for the next three sessions in the Summer Hall space.

⚪️Before March 17, our group plans to visit two exhibitions with the theme of feminism in the Fruit Market.

We believe that these two exhibitions can provide us with unique perspectives to explore the artistic expression and identity transformation of contemporary women. During the group visit, I look forward to capturing the emotions and thoughts of the artists from the artworks and sharing our opinions with my peers after the meeting.

⚪️On March 17, from 4 to 5 pm, we will hold a “Gallery Visit” meeting. In this meeting, we will discuss and share our thoughts on the exhibitions we recently visited. Through this discussion, we will explore personal impressions, critically evaluate the display methods, and gain new perspectives on artworks and how they are displayed.

⚪️The second meeting is scheduled for March 28 from 4 to 5 pm and is themed “Knowledge Sharing“. Here, each member will have the opportunity to share the novel contemporary theories and concepts they have been exposed to. This exchange aims to broaden our understanding of current curatorial methods and stimulate academic debate on modern art practices.

⚪️Finally, we have a “Problem Solving” session planned for April 5th from 4-5pm. During this time, we will bring up any challenges we have encountered in our curatorial projects and brainstorm together to find solutions. We hope to be able to refine our projects and overcome any obstacles we encounter through peer advice and support.
