basho meeting

meeting as a group to determine what ‘rules’ work best within a group dynamic and which we thought should be banned. we worked on this individually as a way to submit our own expectations within all the quadrants of the board, setting up and acknowledging a common ground of qualities that are positive, negative, ideal and prohibited. we then discussed this with the group to learn of other members ideas and thoughts; this was a good opportunity to get to know each other and learn some important qualities added to the board that we may not have thought about.

negative and ideals above^

we then chose an area in pairs (mine was prohibited) to turn into a board that was simpler to look at and contained more condensed information as to not get distracted by the same post-it repeated. the easiest way to do this was to cluster groups together, which included ’emotionally’ driven (yellow), ‘knowledge’ (orange), and two we separated last minute into clusters that we thought would impact the individual (green) or the wider group (blue).

as a group, we found it was important to present these again in more detail as we had questions about why some were placed where and needed more clarification. this was an opportunity to level-up and ensure everyone understood each quadrant clearly.
