Documenting the conceptualisation of “MAKE PIZZA?

Stage 1: Design a classroom art game in the classroom and fill in the Miro with information about the process and the idea.

I named my kit ‘pizza’ because I understand pizza to be a colourful and very inclusive food that allows the chef to put whatever they want on a pizza if they want to. And most of the food on a pizza is a repetition of many different ingredients. For example, instead of putting just one slice of ham on a pizza, a ham is repeated until the pizza is full.

So in my initial idea for the kit I would prepare a round or triangular (like a slice of pizza) piece of drawing paper and then have different coloured markers or other drawing tools that I could buy. Then I would invite about 5-7 participants to join the activity, each person would be given a piece of white paper and a colour marker, and then each person would draw a single pattern on the paper repeatedly, and then everyone would pass the paper around to get a complete ‘pizza’.

Phase 2: Refine and modify the art game to include body language

Instead of “each person can draw a single repetitive pattern on the paper” as proposed in stage 1, each person draws a gesture or an action on the paper and repeats the action until the paper is covered. The pizza is then finished by each person passing the paper to each other and then a story is created based on the gestures and actions on the paper and recorded.

Stage 3: Enriching the drawing materials and changing the shape of the paper (to be decided, depending on the situation)

Change the round single sheet of paper into a whole scroll where everyone works on the scroll at the same time and prepare different drawing materials such as markers, paint and brushes.

Stage 4: Practice
