开放式学习周1

At the start of the course, I was wary of the heavy “play” component of instruction, which was a new move in education for me. However, this new teaching style has proven to provide me with a very efficient, fascinating, and immersive learning experience. Furthermore, through “face to face” group cooperation, I have received rich ways of thinking and academic perspectives from individuals with diverse academic backgrounds.

Jake asked us at the start of the group project, “Would you want to talk in person or through online meetings?” I stated that I would prefer to communicate in person, as it is today. Face-to-face communication, in my opinion, can properly communicate our language and boost the team’s working efficiency.

Since the twenty-first century, “educational transition,” as an incredibly essential aspect of the school education model, has been studied by academics from numerous disciplines and has been continually modified with the passage of time to meet the most recent educational demands. In this week’s Open Learning, I believe the game “Make Gold” serves as a guide in understanding the educational transition in the subject of painting. In the gold-making game, our group attempted to explain “What does gold look like? What does gold mean to you? What does it smell like? “How does it taste?” “, everyone voiced their ideas and opinions, and the important phrases shared by the group were blended into a new artwork “Moon muffin”.This is crazy work, but it gave me the opportunity to speak with seven classmates from various academic backgrounds. I eventually grasped the value of this game-based teaching style as I learned about each person’s individual interpretation of gold. The use of such face-to-face group cooperation in the process of “creating gold” through the research of diverse qualities of gold is truly a form of perception of creative behaviour and the creation process of artistic works. The team consists of eight members. We express our various points of view in an unusual and random manner before selecting fascinating phrases to deconstruct and “reshape” gold. Behind this are creative approaches from several academic viewpoints, such as dance, visual communication, art, and literature.

After completing the group projects, I am looking forward to further contact know anything about education turning the actual case studies, and I want to be able to contact with other team members in the classroom to experience more rich school thinking, different ways of thinking can always provide a person different creative inspiration, I believe this is also the major goal of the open learning.
