week9

This week has focused on the analysis of my programme sites.

The exhibition area is approximately two hundred square metres. There are three main functional blocks: the exhibition wall, the exhibition cabinets and the lounge area. The luminance target to be achieved is 300lux, which gives a total lighting requirement of approximately 60,000lux for the exhibition area.

The screening room Is almost the same size as the exhibition hall but does not require the same brightness of light as the exhibition hall during the daytime to ensure that the broadcast is effective. With a standard of 150lux, only 30,000lux is required in the room.

Higher brightness is required in the laboratory. 500lux per square foot, up to 90,000lux depending on the size of the laboratory.

After calculating the required brightness, I found the right lamps at various lighting companies according to the needs of each space. The detailed data is submitted in the final work.
