week1

I am Yuqian Li, a student major in interior and architecture design. The design of light is exactly a important part of interior design and it also a very professional subject.  The interest of watching drama is the reason why that lignting design attracted me. The designer use the change of light could show different sense and emotion on the stage. Consider to the ninth part Think about the colour of the light… I learned that different colors of light, different brightness can bring different visual impact. The following is the same play in two different colors of light to show the different effects.

The eight part Design with daylight orientation in mind…and know your sunpath (Context and location)! is what I think the first part we need to consider. According to different sites and location, the sunlight and daylight show a different situation. Like the case that I shared in class. This buiding was designed by a Spanish architecture. The key piont of this design is the change of light when they through the bamboo that outside the building. Making more use of natural light in design not only makes the design interesting (natural light is ever-changing) but also saves energy.

For the workshop I chose the picture that taken from Bruder Klaus Chapel and drew a black and white picture of it. The light source fades from within the hollow statue, with linear reflections reflected in the partially raised masonry.
