week9

This week’s blog is about showing my poster. I want to talk a little bit about my feral entity and how I investigate it.

The feral entity in my project is some lawns in Edinburgh. The main methods of investigation were photography and questionnaire. Firstly, The reason why I investigate lawns and litter is that Edinburgh has a lot of lawns, but when I walk by lawns I can almost always find litter on the lawns. So, my project is about lawns and garbage.

Secondly, I mainly took pictures and conducted questionnaires. I photographed plastic bags, paper bags and even glasses on lawns in Edinburgh. (figure 1)And I even filmed cigarette butts being discarded near the grass on the side of the road. (figure 2)Obviously, this is not a good phenomenon.
