WHO AM I?
I`m Francisca from Chile and I´m interested in mixed media, specifically the mix of sound, video and dance in outdoor spaces.
I found interesting and exciting the impressionist painting and movement, like authors as Monet and Gauguin; and dance-videos in the city or places outside the traditional stage. By the way, I`ve been working with artists from Chile and Australia on a project called Calle that mix dance, video, sound and city landscapes to reflect on the political situation in both countries.
I studied film years ago. Actually I work in edition, heritage and education, and dance performances, while I´m studying to become an Elementary teacher. I want to deepen my knowledge of mixed techniques both to apply what I have learned in my performances and in my work as a primary school teacher.
