1.The issue of immigration in Fujian is throughout the film, and I learned from my chat with Chencai Liu that every Friday is a regular shopping day for Fujian people. Usually, there are some festivals when Chinese people buy fresh ingredients and cook at home to celebrate festival. Before and after the Chinese Lantern Festival, I also went to his seafood shop to shoot and observe.

 

2. Chinese New Year is the most solemn festival for Chinese people. During Chinese New Year, I  proposed to take pictures at their homes, in order to observe their real situation under certain festivals.
