My chosen Found Objects for this project are mugs and cups. They’re a pretty simple design yet so effective that it’s been used for probably as long as humans, or pre-humans, have been picking up water. Whether it be cupping water in your hands or using shells, leaves etc… as long as it can be watertight enough for a few seconds, humans have probably drank out of it. My aim is to experiment with this timeless design and make objects that either look like, or could be used as something to drink out of while not fitting with what we today expect for a mug/cup.
