The first impression that comes to mind when we talk about "serial killer" is normally a male Caucasian. The intuition is actually right according to Statista.com

Top two areas as home to serial killers are the US and England.

Jack the Ripper is always a legend

Besides the stereotype, women and Asians also kill. Recent cases are just pouring.

Girls are pretty and pretty brutal. She actually tweeted to look sorry for the friend she murdered.

Asians also kill. This is a really recent case at Halloween this year. A Japanese man attacked  the passengers in the underground, in the costume of the "Joker". The sight of it is disturbing.

Psychologically, mental, deviance.

Social background should be considered.
