Learning analytics

The Society for Learning Analytics Research defined learning analytics as

“the measurement, collection, analysis and reporting of data about learners and their contexts, for purposes of understanding and optimizing learning and the environments in which it occurs”

    An important point to highlight – but making LA meaningful and actionable at the level of an individual course is not, I think, that straightforward 😉
