Last week I didn’t manage to get into the studio to work on my own projects as was invited to design a set for a film on Mae West.  My remit was to set up a 1930s style dressing room  in one of the back stage dressing rooms and a prison cell in the basement, at the Leith Theatre.

My debut into the film world  was a timely follow on from the previous weeks seminar exploring multiple identities and fictional worlds.

It was really helpful to see how a set looks when viewed through the camera lens and will be very useful for the development of my set for The Rave Cave.

Here are a few preview snaps of the shoot.  I couldn’t resist taking the Polaroid to get some vintage style pictures.
