Following my previous sculpture experimenting with suspending the rope using the sticks and feedback that it resembled a natural form such as a chrysalis, I worked again with sticks and suspending the rope but with the idea of creating a form resembling a wasp nest. I worked purely from memory not towards any particular image to ensure I kept the sculpture somewhat abstract and not too literal to the form of the nest.
