Close up of the British 10 cent coin
I was most interested with the visual imagery of the British 10 cent coin on the eye of the fish, as the queen’s face facing the same direction as the fish’s head gave this sense of uncanniness that I wanted to work with.
Definition of ‘Uncanny’ – strange or mysterious, especially in an unsettling way.
