Methodological Ideation P.2
Whilst I’ve been exploring possible methodologies, I attended an event that took place at the institute and a lecturer told me about a research philosophy which, from the very second I heard it, I knew it not only aligned with my original conceptual intention for this research but it was also going to be a fundamental aspect which would set it apart from much of the academic literature within the future of work and automation.
The social constructionist approach led me to zero-in on the field/discipline I’m gearing my research towards, as it is part of the Science and Technology Studies (STS) discipline. Furthermore, should my efforts to publish my research come to fruition, I believe I may aim for the Technology in Society Journal.
