These two paintings were the first that I painted inside of my isolation booth space with each being painted on separate days. As can be assumed from the colour choice, one day was a day of anxiety and anger and the other was a a day of sadness and loss after receiving sad news from home. I like the combination of colours in each piece and the subtle way that the colours are blended together. Each of these are on card with watered down acrylic paints.

I feel the looseness of each piece, with the choices of colours, is very successful at representing emotions. The blurry way that each piece is painted gives a sense of looking back on a memory and how memories are an unreachable thing.
