For my found object, I wanted to pick something from the National Museum of Scotland, which I’d already made several visits too and new that there’d be something for me to pick. When I visited with picking an object in mind, I found myself drawn to the natural history area of the museum. I thought the posing of some of the taxidermy exhibits were particularly realistic, so I decided to pick one of these as my found object. At this point I hadn’t made any further thought process into what I was going to do for the project, but I knew this would be interesting to work from.
