Infinitesimally
I photographed these photographs during the special activity before Chinese New Year. During the Spring festival people provide sacrifices which including food, tea and alcohol to worship gods and their ancestors. One of the important activities is to burn paper made to resemble money. These photos are the burning paper.
Abstract images are materials obtained through direct research on nature and daily traces. In subtle, inadvertent places, those moments that seem to be suddenly still are always ignored, so we are trained to observe very limited situations from only one angle. When the contrast of the image scale and the interlacing between the real and the virtual, the macro and micro scales become blurred, and the actual experience will be overturned. At the same time, we reset the free power to get rid of reality. This limited space constructed by self-observation and imagination will expand the limited space into an infinite space through the expansion of perception and the ability of imagination. Just as nature only shows us the rich landscape on the surface, but the most profound and effective part is hidden behind, and these displayed images are only a layer of yarn covering the surface of the object, a kind of illusory medium, not the end the journey.
