Model composite of churches in Artsakh – basic structure.
From bare cardboard, I began adding coarse texture and red paint.
I added two more layers of coarse texture and a darker coat of burgundy paint.
Then I added a thin layer of black ink, and blotted it out.
My intention is to add more layers of texture and colour, then expose it to various elements, locations, temperatures and document it as it begins to change and deteriorate.
