Through my sculpture I aim to create a visual metaphor of the frustrations we experience living at this point in time using found distressed objects.
Words which come to mind: Sanitisation, cleanliness, purge, loneliness, frustration, isolated, heavy, uncertainty, anxiety, worry, containment, suffocation, claustrophobic, doubt, infection, illness, trust, untrustworthy, unknown, authoritarian, capitalism, economy, distress.
Possible materials to connote the above: shower heads (sanitisation), taps, pipes (ventilators), shower curtains (like hospital ward curtains), boiler (growing frustration), steam (infection, sneeze, cough, spray, sanitiser).
Perhaps video attempts to transport works? Demonstrate your own frustration of the situation and the limitations of producing work now.
