The Bottle Imp- English and Samoan version

This book, published by Edinburgh Diamond, contains  a graphic adaptation of Stevenson’s story ‘The Bottle Imp’, produced by Hawaiian artist Solomon Enos. The adaptation is wordless, and is accompanied by Enos’s own plot summary, both in English and in Samoan (translated by Sadat Muaiava). Also included is an illustration (by British artist Jack Brougham) outlining key details about Stevenson’s Pacific writing and travels, as well as a series of prompts for teaching and learning which can be used for independent study or in classrooms.
