Stories about Nursing at Edinburgh straight from our staff and students

Our new Alumni: MSc Students 2014-2015

A great cohort of MSc ANP students have just completed their year long studies with us in Nursing Studies.   This year has been an extraordinary year, and we are now be planning the welcome party for the new cohort (and the treasure hunt!)… if you are joining us in a few weeks- beware!!!

Masters and CPD students in Week 1 engaging in their first discussions on the joys and challenges of clinical decision making in nursing practice - and also making new friends. Clinical Decision Making & Professional Judgement is a Masters level option organised by Professor Tonks Fawcett.

We hope to see them back in Edinburgh for Graduation in the Winter- but for now  it’s time to say goodbye to them.

This year the course was led by both Aisha Holloway and Sharon Levy, who had this to say to the students:  ‘Find that mentor or mentors who will support you and guide you. Get writing! Read well and widely and believe in yourself just as we believed in you!’

Please stay in touch, and make connections with our Nursing Studies Alumni all over the world.

And always remember “If not now when, and if not you who?’
