In 2016, Nursing Studies at The University of Edinburgh celebrates 60 years, making us the UK’s longest standing University nursing department.

Please join us at our Alumni Conference to help mark this important anniversary. The event will bring together our diverse range of nursing graduates in a mix of talks and workshops to document the ‘leaps’ taken by individuals and groups during each of the six decades of our history.

Key speakers will include:

§  Professor Anne Marie Rafferty, CBE, FRCN, Florence Nightingale School of Nursing, King’s College London,

§  Professor Ruth Schrock, former staff member,

§  Professor Cathy Warwick, CBE, Chief Executive of the Royal College of Midwives,

§  Professor Alison Tierney, Former Head of Nursing Studies and Director of the Nursing Research Unit for Scotland

§  Dr Colette Ferguson, Director of Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions, NHS Education for Scotland.

We are offering an early bird registration fee of £30.00 and advise you to book early to avoid disappointment
