MSc experiences shared

Students on the MSc in Advancing Nursing Practice had an opportunity to learn more about the work of a senior NHS nurse who recently completed the same programme herself.

Alison Glover, Renal Recipient Transplant Coordinator, demonstrated her innovative ePortfolio and elaborated on the benefits and the challenges she faced when using PebblePad (http://www.pebblepad.co.uk/).

Alison also talked about her current work and the many opportunities she has to translate her studies into provision of excellent patient care. Students were eager to hear more about her Telehealth work and the plans NHS Lothian have for developing Alison’s patient portal www.nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk/renaltransplant.
