Nursing Studies hit the road!
The MSc students share experiences of a day out of Edinburgh- thank you Vivian, Steven and Alan for writing for the blog.
July 04, the weather was not good in the morning, but the MSc ANP students were still excited to join a day trip around Edinburgh.
Sharon rented a van for the trip and Tonks was our “live GPS” to introduce the views along the road. We really appreciated that they spent their precious time to accompany with us. On the way, Steven, one of our students, sang a gorgeous Chinese song named “Jasmine”. We enjoyed his song and couldn’t imagine he could sing like that.
We first arrived the South Queensferry to see the famous Forth Bridge. Because of the windy and foggy weather, a bit of mystery was added to the spectacular bridge.
Aberdour beach was the next stop. We were moved by the romantic view of the beach in drizzling.
Culross, a village of Fife, was the final destination of our day trip. The sun came out during the time at the Culross Abbey. Aisha, one of our great lecturers, introduced a brief history and background regarding the village and the Abbey. Ali, our another student, was lucky to have a chance to ring the Abbey bell.
Later on, we all went to Aisha’s lovely house to have a delicious lunch.
We all enjoyed our day trip with a special thanks to Tonks, Sharon, Aisha and her family to give us an amazing experience in Edinburgh.
