Recently I published a review of the book Civic Nationalisms in Global Perspective edited by Jasper M. Trautsch in the journal Nations and Nationalism. This book is one of the latest collections of essays providing fruitful comparisons of historical practices of civic or quasi-civic nationalism in eight present-day or past states worldwide. This volume revisits the concept of civic nationalism and offers new insights for extant nation-states to integrate their populations in more inclusive ways.

If you are interested in this book, I hope this review will offer you some basic knowledge about the main content of this book.
