Dear All,

Thank you for your work this week.

Congratulations to Web Governance Admin Intern, Angelina Lai who is going full time for May-Sep 2026 and will experiment with AI & Accessibility and manage the web registry. Angelina will also work with our incoming (soon to be named) Web Registry intern over the summer to gather vital web estate data and build dashboards.

Congratulations to the LOUISA project team and all involved, for making it on to a very competitive awards shortlist: Record number of finalists announced for the 2026 International e-Assessment Awards | The e-Assessment Association

Great to see School of Engineering following our lead and naming new teaching spaces in their new building ( Engineering Forum (1) Post | LinkedIn) after inspirational women: Dorothy Donaldson Buchanan, Hertha Ayrton, Maria Watkins and Dame Caroline Haslett.

Please send your (polite) suggestions for naming the Forrest Hill meeting rooms to Lesley (McRoomface) Greer

I see also that HCA are naming their new unicorn Ethylwyn  School mascot announced | School of History, Classics & Archaeology | History Classics and Archaeology. Our own 2026 LTW mascot animal will be a small-clawed, ed-webbed, Asian otter called Bracket. If you would like to win tickets to visit Bracket at Edinburgh Zoo, watch this space. The LTW Break Room
