Thank you for your work this week.

Thank you to everyone who made Welcome Week a success.

Please welcome two new colleagues starting with LST this week, Lewis Miller and Robert Holden. Just in time for the start of term rooms rush.

Congratulations to Project Manager Euan Thomson, who is hopping across the wing from LST to EDE for a 2-year career development secondment to tackle some of our key projects within our digital programme.

Congratulations to Bart for gaining employer sponsorship (from ISG) for his further studies.

Congratulations to all of you at Grade 8 or above, for suddenly becoming members of the University General Council! Membership and Registration | The General Council | The General Council Lots of fun voting, events and elections to get involved.

Congratulations to everyone involved in helping to build and fit-out the Nucleus building, it is up for best building in Scotland Award: Doolan Prize 2025: what could be named Scotland’s best building?  And if you are in the market for a 60 bed mansion, contact Estates, they have a couple for sale up near Kings Buildings.

Thank you to everyone who has helped to get our LTW services up to date in the ISG service catalogue Service Catalogue Update. Looks like we have the most, and the most up to date!

Thank you to everyone involved in planning for Ada Lovelace Day. It looks like a great, fun and interesting day with some cracking activities. Ada Lovelace Day (14th October 2025) – Ada Lovelace Day Please do book your place and come along ( check with your manager first). I am looking forward to seeing you all there.

Please do book also for the men’s mental health event in November. Men’s Mental Health event It is sometimes hard to get senior management involved in promoting such events, so it is good that Gavin has been up for leading it. and thank you to Ricarda who has been helping him.
