Friday 9th May

Dear All,

Thank you for your work this week.

The new short courses catalogue has gone live for its very soft launch and we have taken a payment already from a genuine member of the public! Well done, All. Home | Short Courses – University of Edinburgh

Having helped us finish the Learn Ultra and Edweb2 projects Kenny Stevenson is sadly leaving us to help the Scottish Government complete the Covid enquiry. If you would like to read the evaluation reports which Kenny wrote for us, you can find them on the LTW colleague hub.

Payton Huber, our marketing intern also finishes up today.  Payton has been concerned that we may be a bit out of date with our comms towards discerning young persons  and she’s helped kick-start the online learning Tiktok account and created Instagram content like this summary of 2024 https://www.instagram.com/p/DDwntp7oNOn/?igsh=MWU1NmRyNjdkdmg2NQ==

Thank you to Lauren for her several years of service representing us on the ISG Staff Experience Committee, she’ll now pass that baton to Kevin.

Please do join us to celebrate the re-opening of the Eleanor Ormerod Training Room at lunchtime on 20th May. The room is looking lovely, the LST teams have done a great job, there will be snacks and if you have wings, you should wear ‘em.

The next LTW All staff meeting will be on 2nd July and I will see you all at Mandatory Training Day next week.

Have a good weekend,

-Melissa
