Friday 2nd May
Dear All,
Thank you for your work this week.
It has been lovely weather to celebrate Beltane and May Day morning. I trust you danced through the night and washed your face in the dew.
As April ended we waved goodbye to two of our project management team: Jackson Corey-Duff and Kirsty Waddell and to Martina Emmerich who was working with us on the Captioning Service (looking at possible improvements to automated transcripts/captions using AI) . Martina wrote a blog post about the work she has been doing – Correcting Academic Language with AI – Digital Learning Applications and Media and Ellie Kerr has been inspired to a career change How caption editing made me fall in love with Ophthalmology (and why I now want to do the Master’s I’ve been captioning for) – Digital Learning Applications and Media.
