Edinburgh University Oncology Society (EUOS) is a student-led society aimed to introduce and enhance the understanding of oncology and cancer biology.
Throughout the year, we organise a wide range of events – from talks, to conferences, socials and fundraisers. We also promote research opportunities and welcome submissions for our own magazine. We also host academic student-led tutorials, journal clubs and talks by experts in the field to develop your knowledge on the fundamentals of cancer, as well as new developments in the fast-advancing field.
The biggest EUOS event of the year is our own annual oncology conference, where we bring together inspiring professionals, students and scientists to learn and talk about a current challenge in oncology.
Our committee members work together to organise the most interesting events for you to explore and stay up to date with the newest developments in oncology.
The topic of oncology encompasses every cell in our body and so it is inevitable that every scientist or doctor will encounter it at one point in their career. We aim to increase understanding, raise awareness and provide up-to-date knowledge from top scientists and doctors at the University of Edinburgh. We hope to welcome you soon!
