LGBT+ Medics

LGBT society logoThe Edinburgh University LGBT+ Medics are a social and safe community for LGBT+ medical students and allies at Edinburgh Medical School. We host regular social events to support and connect our community. These include our monthly chat and support group: Tell Me About It.

We’re here to help you make like-minded friends on your course, answer questions, and discuss…  anything really!

Our annual MedSkool Drag Night is our biggest and gayest event, which celebrates everything under the rainbow, and involves enough glitter to clog your one night stand’s sink. We also host frequent academic events which highlight LGBT+ healthcare issues and education.

We advocate for LGBT+ inclusive healthcare education within our own University, and are pushing for change that will help medical students care for their LGBT+ patients.

Follow us on social media to stay updated with what we’re up to and get involved!
