Hello and a warm welcome to Medics Rugby!
For anyone interested in rugby and/or just having a fun time we have a packed rugby and social calendar throughout the year, including regional league and cup matches, and of course the annual SNIMS event!
We’re an open and welcoming club who consider ourselves more than just a team, but a family with six years of students happy to help each other out with the demands of life in med school and student life, so don’t be nervous about checking the club out as there are plenty of friendly faces.
Being one of the top medical school rugby clubs in the UK, and one of the largest medics sports clubs in the university, members range in ability from representative sides to newcomers wanting to try out a new sport, and even exclusively social members, so don’t worry if you’ve never played before!
Equally there are weekly match opportunities if you’re a keen player wanting to develop your performance, as well as weekday training that fits around your studies.
Our busy and exciting social calendar also includes the club’s traditional ‘Big Four’ events which are always a blast, as is the infamous EUMRFC European Tour!
