Improvements for late submissions
To help instructors quickly identify late submissions in the attempt banner, late submissions now have a Late indicator. The wording has also been updated from Submitted late <date> to Submitted <date>.
Grade override improvements
To increase transparency when overriding grades, an Override indicator has been added to overridden grades on the Grades & Participation screen for Discussions.
The Undo Override workflow on the Discussion grading interface has been implemented, which mimics the Undo Override workflow in the Journal grading interface.
Group Management: Performance Improvements
To help with management of groups especially in large courses, group performance has been improved; saving groups is now a reported 80%-90% quicker (testing carried out by Blackboard).
Discussion Enhancement: New Post Indicator
In an effort to help with directing engagement, a “New” indicator has been added that displays next to posts and replies that a user has not yet accessed.

Navigation Added for LTI and SCORM Items within Learning Modules
For easier navigation, students can now select arrows to the left and right of LTI or SCORM items to move through learning modules.
Copy Items from Courses Improvement
For the interest of School Level Support administrator roles, the copy workflow has been updated to make copying easier. Now, SLS users can copy from any course that they have access to, even if they’re not enrolled:
- Administrator Panel (Courses) > Courses > Copy Course
- Administrator Panel (Organisations) > Organisations > Copy Organisation
Known Issues
The upcoming December release will look to fix the known issue where content transfer between courses Disables Progress Tracking. The observed behaviour was that when copying content from a source course into the target course, the target course’s progress tracking would be switched to Off in the process. The fix will now help to ensure the expected behaviour that when content is copied from one course to another, the target course’s Progress Tracking settings will remain unchanged.
