Hello! Welcome to our webpage documenting the process and the outcomes of the project titled Fostering Dialogue Across Racial Differences in Undergraduate Students: A Pilot Study.

Some of the questions that guided our project are:

  • What is the impact of racialised social structures and dynamics on students’ learning experience in the University?
  • What are students’ perspectives on what would facilitate meaningful and satisfactory engagement with diversity in teaching and learning contexts in the UoE?
  • How can a participatory methodology, such as interracial culture circles, help us answer these questions?

Feel free to browse through the different tabs on the menu bar to get more information about the project and to engage with what emerged through the course of this work.

We gratefully acknowledge that funding for this PTAS project was provided by the University of Edinburgh Development Trust.
