Edinburgh Award (Researcher Professional Development)

From March to December 2020, IAD is piloting an Edinburgh Award (Researcher Professional Development) for PhD students at the University. This is a structured Award for researchers to plan, engage and reflect on their professional development. You will have to commit to undertaking a minimum of 50 hours of professional development. This will be made up of 40 hours of practical professional development activities and attendance at a minimum of four professional/ research development workshops provided by the IAD, your School or another service. To be eligible you must be a current University of Edinburgh PhD student, preferably in the first year of your degree, from any disciplinary area.

 It is strongly advised that you discuss this with your supervisory team before making an application.
